We had a great breakfast at our hotel. I had two bowls of Fruit Loops and one bowl of oatmeal!
We wereon the road by 7:30am.
Grama Jo and I read LOTS of books today. Some we had read yesterday also.
We started out in Indiana - near Indianapolis (where the Colts play football)
They were getting ready for a big car race. I saw a race car driver at breakfast!
I got a checkered flag yesterday so this morning I got another one to take to Beck.
We drove on a BIG highway that had LOTS of trucks on it.
Everyone was going fast.
We saw some cars with no tops called convertibles.
I did not figure out the top was, but Grama Jo tried to explain it.
We went by Columbus, Ohio, where the Buckeyes play (we don't like them). We saw some very tall buildings there. We went through the states of Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania took us all afternoon! We are staying at Valley Forge tonight.
In the mountains we went through4 tunnels. Some were long.I really like tunnels. I told Papa they are just a tube. He agreed with me.
I got to watch a Veggie Tales DVD on Uncle Josh's player in the car. That was pretty neat, but I
really like reading better.
We are staying on the 10th floor of our hotel tonight. It is a tall building. We did not find a pool. We just walked around outside for awhile. There are a lot of soccer players here for a big tournament.
More news tomorrow. Papa says we do not have to ride in the car all day tomorrow. We will go see the Liberty Bell and the zoo.
