I helped Papa get the luggage down to the car. Greenfrog got a ride.
We stayed Sat.night at a motel outside of Camden,NJ. It had a pool and we went swimming.
We had breakfast at the hotel and then headed south.

We went to the Harold N Peek Preserve in Millville, NJ.
We took a nice hike down the road to the Peeks old home place.
It was so pretty. Papa and Grama Jo walked right by this turtle and did not see it.
I picked it up and named it Speedy. I wanted to keep it but decided it needed to
stay close to its mom. We saw geese on the Maurice River. There were lots
of mosquitoes so we did not stay long. Then we started drving in to NYC on the
New Jersey Turnpike. Grama Jo and I read books except when she had to read the map to help
Papa know which road to get on.

It was the longest tunnel I have ever been in. Papa said we were going UNDER a river!
We saw LOTS of bridges going into NYC and we saw Lady Liberty. Grama Jo said Lady Liberty is
on an island but it did not look that way to me! There are LOTS of people in NYC and lots
of yellow cabs. I told Papa to yell "cab" whenever he saw one, but then there were just
too many to do that.

We are are glad that Green Frog was able to go to NYC! He looks like he is having a wonderful time. I am excited to hear all about the dinosaurs at the Museum. We love you, it just isn't the same at Papa's with out you all.
